If you aren’t quite ready to stop the fun once the sun goes down, you don’t need to worry! There are plenty of fun things to do in Singapore at night that will keep you entertained into the late hours.
Karaoke at K.Star
K.Star Karaoke is not your average karaoke bar!
K.Star is Singapore’s first themed karaoke bar with 25 uniquely decorated rooms. Each room has its own theme with bright colors, plush toys and giant décor. You can see for yourself on Instagram just how fun this karaoke bar is!
This novel karaoke bar is the place to go if you want to sing the night away.
The hours for K.Star vary depending on the day, so make sure to check their times along with their rates.
Night Safari by Wildlife Reserves
This highly popular night attraction is the world’s first nocturnal zoo where you will be able to see nearly 900 different animals – all at night.
During the Night Safari, you will be taken on a tram for a 40-minute ride through Singapore’s “wilderness” as you learn about all the different animals with your expert guide.
The Night Safari has been created by Wildlife Reserves and has a focus on animal conversation and biodiversity protection.
Sentosa Island Evening Shows
Another thing to do in Singapore at night is to venture off to Sentosa Island for some evening fun! Sentosa Island has two evening shows that both happen to be free. The Crane Dance show is the first evening show at 8:00 pm and features giant mechanical cranes. At 11:00 pm, you can watch a water and laser show called the Lake of Dreams.
Aside from the evening shows, Sentosa Island also offers up many nighttime activities including:
- Indoor skydiving
- Fine dining
- A luxurious spa
- Various clubs and bars
Sentosa Island also offers many fun activities throughout the day, and you could easily plan a day trip over to the island that carries you into the evening.
Gardens by the Bay
You will not want to miss the Gardens by the Bay, either at day or at night!
These solar-powered human-made trees are ready to light up the night and make for a wonderful free thing to do at night in Singapore.
Night Markets
Singapore is home to many incredible night markets! You can easily fill your entire stay wandering through these markets. Each market has something different. If you only have the opportunity to visit one night market, I recommend paying a visit to the Chinatown Street Market.
The Chinatown Street Market has food, souvenirs and an incredible atmosphere.
Atlas
Time has voted Atlas Bar as one of the greatest places in the world, and there’s a reason why! It’s one of my favourite places in Singapore to enjoy a drink at an exquisite location.
Atlas is especially iconic for gin lovers. With over 1,200 different gins to choose from, you’ll feel like royalty while sipping on your drink at Atlas.
Singapore Flyer
Soar over Singapore’s gorgeous nighttime skyline onboard a giant Ferris wheel. Enjoy the views from the Singapore Flyer, the world’s tallest observational wheel! The Singapore Flyer is even taller than the London Eye.
Each capsule holds 28 people and offers impressive 360-degree views of the city. You’ll be able to see the Supertrees in the Gardens by the Bay, and you’ll even be able to see Indonesia in the far off distance.
Each ride is 28 minutes, giving passengers enough time to soak up the gorgeous night-time views.
Science Centre Star Gazing
This evening activity is weather dependent, so before planning your evening of staring up at the stars, be sure to check ahead and make sure it will be happening that evening!
To participate in this night activity, you’ll need a Q card. According to the Science Centre’s website, Q cards will be given out starting at 7:30 pm at the registration desk while supplies last.
What makes star gazing here so special is that Singapore’s Science Centre is one of few in the world situated so close to the equator, meaning you’ll be able to gaze up to even more constellations than you’d be able to at a different place in the world. It’s a truly unique thing to do in Singapore at night!
River Boat Cruise
Take an evening cruise down Singapore’s river and see Clarke Quay, Marina Bay and other notable spots spectacularly lit up in the evening!
You may also get the opportunity to see an evening laser show by boat. Make sure you visit the River Cruise website to see if there will be a laser show during your stay.
There are many things to do in Singapore at night. Whether you want to take in Singapore’s dazzling skyline through the River Boat Cruise or the Singapore Flyer, or if you’d like to experience world-class attractions such as the Night Safari, you will be sure to find many activities to keep you entertained long into the night!
